Trauma Healing

Trauma Specialist

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression or PTSD and feel like nothing has really worked before?
I help LGBTQ+ people heal the wounds that keep them stuck – using powerful and innovative methods including Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR).
These specialised techniques offer rapid, deep-seated change – often achieving in weeks what might otherwise take years.
Studies show remission from PTSD after treatment in
93%
of cases, in an average of 8 sessions
+ significant reduction in depression and anxiety symptoms
(Descilo et al, 2010 and Bisbey, 1995)
As queer people we grow up feeling unsafe to be our true selves, experiencing the trauma of shame, rejection and isolation. But that can be healed.
Trauma is often at the root of depression, anxiety, PTSD and addiction – so when you heal the trauma, you can finally flourish and feel happier, calmer and freer.
I offer a free twenty minute zoom call to ask any questions and see if my approach feels right for you – with no pressure or commitment.
I work with adults experiencing:
• Childhood trauma
• Sex, sexuality and gender issues
• Shame (coming out, societal shame, internalised homophobia)
• PTSD / Complex PTSD
• Abuse (physical, verbal and sexual)
• Grief and loss
• Relationship and attachment issues
• Medical or accident trauma
• Low self-esteem, anxiety, depression
• Anger, overwhelm, hypervigilance

Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) has been used to treat survivors and first responders of 9/11, Ukraine and Gaza, as well as Grenfell Tower and the London terror attacks with the Metropolitan Police.
But it doesn’t have to be big events: trauma takes many forms, often subtle incidents from childhood can have a lasting impact.
Alongside TIR, I use a range of transformative tools – clients are often amazed at how quickly real change can happen – feeling lighter and brighter after only a few sessions: free from a lifetime of anxiety and emotional pain.
